Spiritual fruit: What is it? Christ used parables to help the people of His time understand His teachings. Farming was a common choice for Jesus since most of the people He taught were familiar with farming. If you were growing an orchard, the trees in your orchard would produce a specific kind of fruit. As a Christian you are in a since like a tree in an orchard. As a believer in Christ you are expected to produce certain fruits, i.e. works, actions, attitudes. . . a lifestyle.

The Law of Sowing and Reaping is a spiritual law that too many Christians do not understand. Money is what most Christians think of when we begin to talk about sowing and reaping. Sowing and reaping covers most everything in life. We unfortunately don’t equate what we have and what we receive with this spiritual precept.

Spiritual farming may sound strange to you but it is a Biblical principle that every Christian should be familiar with. There are several areas that I will discuss but we will begin with the most basic Christian “must have” which is faith. With out faith your farming will be unfruitful at best.
